About Me

Counsellor, Supervisor, Trainer

A calm & confidential space

I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have my own private practice, where I work with adults, and I also work as a school counsellor within a primary school, where I am part of the safeguarding team.

I work integratively, drawing on different therapeutic approaches and theories to ensure that our work together is tailored to you, your individual needs and what feels most helpful for you.

Alongside my counselling and psychotherapy practice, I am passionate about teaching, training and supporting other professionals. I deliver parent and school staff workshops, helping to educate and empower adults to better understand and support children. I also run my own CPD training courses for therapists and have previously taught the Level 2 Counselling Skills Course to adults at the Counsel House Training Centre.

I am also an author and creator of therapeutic resources. My work includes my book on grief (A Gift for a Grieving Heart), Reflective Endings, Reflections for Children, and my Reflective Supervision Cards. These resources have grown from my professional experience, my passion for therapeutic work and my belief in creating accessible tools that can support reflection, understanding and emotional wellbeing.

I have a particular interest in neurodivergence, including ADHD, Autism and Dyslexia, and have spent the past three years continuing to develop my knowledge and understanding in this area. I have also gained an additional qualification in working with autism, further strengthening my ability to support neurodivergent clients.

Another area particularly close to my heart is bereavement and grief. I volunteered at my local hospice for approximately three and a half years, supporting adults through grief, loss and sadness. Having experienced significant bereavements myself while growing up, I have a deep personal understanding of the impact of loss. This experience, alongside my professional training, enables me to bring empathy, compassion and genuine understanding to my work with clients experiencing bereavement.

As a counsellor and supervisor, I work in a highly intuitive and relational way. I believe that each person has their own inner knowledge and understanding, and I aim to create a safe space where you can connect with this. My own spirituality and intuition are an important part of who I am, and I draw on these qualities within my work to help guide and support my clients and supervisees towards a deeper understanding of themselves.

My practice is fully insured through Holistic Insurance, and I am registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
