Three Counsellors & Emotions

This training will help you connect with your intuition in a more expressive & creative way and deepen your connection as a practitioner.

The aims are to:

Give therapists artistic & reflective strategies to use in the therapy room

Give therapists the confidence to work with their intuition

Give therapists the confidence to use music as a way to deepen their client's connections

Give therapists a way of bringing music, emotions & cards altogether

Give therapists the opportunity to buy some bespoke therapy resources

Learning Outcomes:

This unique & fun workshop brings 3 unique counsellors together to create a different kind of learning. This workshop will push you out of your comfort zone and hopefully leave you feeling more connected with yourself and give you new ideas of how to work with your clients.

So come and join us for a creative and artistic exploration into your self as a therapist. Through story boarding, reflecting using artwork and bespoke therapy resources and musical improvisation as well as activities.

We will encourage each of you to bring out your inner emotional identity and to consider how to use different techniques in art, music, discussion, and body work to encourage the client to do the same in the therapy room.

This will be an experimental and experiential day, so please come prepared to step outside of your comfort zone, but also to leave at the end of the day inspired and full of new therapeutic strategies and activities.

We are going to take you on a journey starting with an introduction to music as way to get to know yourself and each other using instruments. A lot of people have been led to believe that they can not play an instrument but this course will show you otherwise. Playing an instrument is about the sound it creates and the feeling it evokes and that is what you will be exploring.

Part of the workshop will be creating your own storyboard, bringing together our brand new Reflective Ending Cards, Inside Out Emotions and Music. This collaboration uses unique, creative concepts, where you will also learn how to add magnets to your storyboard.

The afternoon will be an opportunity to bring together everything you have learnt from the morning, in an experiential, one of a kind and fun way. By immersing in this experience, you will be able to go away with a deeper connection and understanding of yourself and the confidence to leave and try your new found skills with your own clients.

The final activity will be songwriting. We will ask you to have a song in mind, where you will use the lyrics to access your feelings so you can explore your unique connection with the song.

Who is this for?

The workshop is intended for qualified and student therapists or anyone who wants to deepen their connection with themselves.

Meet your trainers:

Angie Dulwich

I have a real pull towards working through fear towards vulnerability. This reflects my own journey of how shame has echoed through my life, supporting my emotions.

Using Inside Out Characters, my vulnerable, hurt self has found a way to finally find a voice and work towards connection as i believe this brings healing.

Todays workshop brings together the 3 of us who have a deep, real vulnerability and use creativity to help finally find our voices.

Feeling is healing!

Amongst many things, my creative side was ignited. My dream was to have a small gift shop doing what I love...creating! In 2022 Mindful Presents, my dream was created and I am so looking forward to my new journey.

I am really passionate and enjoy what I do and will always try to use environmentally friendly products where possible and source from sustainable and local suppliers.

Please feel free to contact me should you have any questions.
