Meet your trainers:

Sarah Sfaltos

Sarah is a counsellor and clinical supervisor. She runs her own private practice, working with children, teenagers and adults. She also works in a primary school as the school counsellor and safeguarding member.

Sarah also runs parent and school staff workshops to educate adults on how best to support children.

In the Past...

Sarah volunteered at her local hospice as a bereavement counsellor, supporting adults with their grief and sadness.

She also taught Level Two counselling skills course to adults and received Outstanding during her teaching skills audit

Goals...

Sarah wants to share her deepened understanding and lived experience of neurodivergence to help others recognise and appreciate neurodivergent ways of being, knowing that early awareness can make a meaningful difference.

Sarah plans to delivery her training courses to as many people as possible so that this shared knowledge can reduce the level of anxiety and suffering.

My Passion...

Sarah’s greatest passion is using her knowledge and experience to create meaningful resources that support people through a range of emotional challenges.

So far, she has designed and developed two sets of therapy cards — one for adults and one for children. The Reflective Endings Cards help adults explore and process the many types of endings we experience in life, while the Reflections for Children Cards encourage children to reflect on their thoughts, feelings, and everyday experiences.

Sarah is now working on a companion book inspired by her Reflective Endings Cards, offering deeper insights, reflections, and emotional support for loss and endings.

Anne Turnbull

Anne is an EMDR consultant and a clinical supervisor. Anne has her own private practice and has a particular interest in working with neurodivergence (autism & ADHD). Anne works with children, young people and adults.

Anne currently works as a consultant and facilitator for Leeds Beckett University Carnegie School of Education, designing and facilitating workshops on reflective and peer on peer supervision.

In the Past...

Anne has taught counselling courses from certificate to diploma level and delivered workshops on mental health issues in schools.

As a supervisor, Anne has provided group and individual supervision to therapists, mental health teams and educators..

Goals...

Anne wants to help therapists develop the confidence and language to bring the topic of neurodivergence into the therapy room as so many clients are desperate to understand why they find life so much harder than those around them.

Helping clients on their journey of understanding and embracing neurodivergence can be life changing.

My Passion...

Anne has designed and created a sensory bag, inspired by her years of experience working with neurodivergent clients.

She has also developed a set of Neuro-Affirmative Cards — a thoughtful resource to help individuals explore and celebrate their sensory experiences and unique differences.
